Work & Experience
From August 2020 to February 2024, I worked at Zahid Jamil & Co., Chartered Accountants, a member firm of PrimeGlobal. During my time there, I progressed from Audit Associate to Audit Supervisor and also served as Acting Audit Manager from July to December 2023. I was involved in planning and executing statutory audits in accordance with IFRS, ISAs, and the firm’s audit methodology. My responsibilities included preparing financial statements, reviewing internal controls, testing compliance, and documenting control deficiencies. I also drafted management letters, tax computations, and key communications with those charged with governance. In June 2023, I successfully led the ICAP Quality Control Review. I supervised junior team members, reviewed their work, and ensured that audit engagements were delivered efficiently and on time. This experience significantly developed my leadership, time management, and client communication skills.
At MMBA Chartered Accountants UK, I am currently working as Assistant Manager, responsible for planning and executing audits under UK GAAP (FRS 102) using CCH Audit Automation, Caseware, Xero, and Sage.
