Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze financial data and provide insights on business performance.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies.
  • Prepare journal entries and ensure proper documentation.
  • Monitor financial transactions and ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.
  • Work closely with other departments to gather financial data and support cross-functional initiatives.
  • Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and analysis.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and reporting tools to enhance decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA or pursuing CPA is a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience in accounting or financial analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in a corporate finance environment or public accounting.
  • Knowledge of data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems.
