Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and expense reports
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
  • Maintain and update general ledger and sub-ledgers
  • Prepare journal entries and ensure all entries are properly recorded
  • Support audit activities and provide required documentation
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and reports
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding financial data
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager or senior staff

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 13 years of experience in an accounting or finance role (internships count)
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle)
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPA candidate or plans to pursue CPA certification
  • Experience in a corporate or mid-sized company environment
  • Familiarity with tax filings and compliance processes

Work Environment:
