Job Description
We are seeking a results-driven and tech-savvy Business Developer to join our software company. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and driving revenue growth by promoting our digital solutions. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of software products, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales or business development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and outbound outreach (calls, emails, events).
- Understand client needs and provide tailored software solutions that align with business goals.
- Collaborate with product and technical teams to develop customized proposals and solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
- Develop strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the company’s customer base.
- Negotiate deals and close agreements to maximize profits while ensuring client satisfaction.
- Maintain a detailed CRM of interactions, leads, and sales pipelines.
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and other industry events.
- Provide feedback to internal teams on customer needs, trends, and potential product improvements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2–5+ years of experience in business development or sales within the software or tech industry.
- Strong understanding of software products (e.g., SaaS, mobile apps, enterprise platforms).
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with B2B enterprise software sales.
- Technical background or understanding of software development processes.
- Experience selling to international clients or working in global markets.
